@MrChang: Really, when you fall in love with a character, you're falling in love with what they represent, to you in particular.

She's the girl next door, the innocent grounding force that drags someone back from the brink of insanity, the persistence born only of love, that sticks by those they care about, no matter the situation, or the odds.

It's easy to fall in love with that.

As a writer, I strive to create characters with which the reader actively identifies. You know you've made a great character when someone feels emotion as powerful as love for them. When they desire them. That makes the character real, and alive. I'm sure that her creator would be flattered with the love affair so many have with Tifa.

There's nothing wrong with feeling the most important thing to the future of mankind, and a greater understanding of others.

Love will see us brought through Hell, and will preserve us when all else fails.

@MrChang No it isn't, if people willing admit to being in love with Jessica Rabbit, why not Tifa or any other attractive video game or anime character?

And this is fan art, it never happened in any movie or game.
