Black Rock Shooter has nothing to do with Hatsune Miku. BRS is completely different character designed by Huke and she never was just Miku's spin off. They maybe share the same hairstyle but the only thing which connects them is that Miku sang a song about BRS.
tl;dr: Black Rock Shooter shouldn't be linked with Vocaloid or Hatsune Miku.
